HAVEN social action advocates offer confidential, free support and education to victims and their families experiencing intimate partner violence (IPV) and sexual assault (SA). Our dedicated team assists individuals navigating the legal system for criminal cases, providing immediate crisis intervention, safety planning, and emotional support.

At HAVEN, our trauma-informed counselors, equipped with master's degrees in Social Work, Counseling and Psychology, collaborate with adult and child survivors. We collaborate with survivors to create personalized safety plans and individualized goals, all in a judgment-free environment.

It's important to note that our therapists at HAVEN do not provide psychological evaluations or mental health diagnoses. Instead, our sessions focus on trauma-based therapies, providing a supportive therapeutic service.

Flexible Counseling Options: Whether in-person or via telehealth, survivors have the choice to meet with a HAVEN therapist in a way that suits their preferences and needs.
Diverse Counseling Services: HAVEN offers a range of services, including individual counseling, group counseling, and healing workshops, designed to address the specific needs of adult survivors of intimate partner violence (IPV) and sexual assault (SA).
Specialized Counseling for Children: Individual counseling is available for children aged 5 and above who are direct survivors or witnesses of IPV and/or SA. For youth aged 14 and older, up to 12 sessions can be received without parental consent. Additionally, group counseling is offered for ages 7-11 who have experienced IPV and/or SA.
